Wonersh Village New Book Exchange Now Open
Details of the newly opened book exchange in the telephone box outside Wonersh Shop. Thank you to all involved!

The new book exchange near the village shop is now open. You are very welcome to take, return and donate books. We also please ask you not to overfill the shelves or dump excess books on the floor! This exchange complements the Blackheath Lane book exchange, operated by the Wonersh Players, which continues to thrive.
Many thanks to Dave who built the shelves and Simon from Thrower Signs in Bramley who donated the signage. There is a team of volunteers who have a rota for tidying and checking the box, led by Georgie Grant. Please contact georgie.grant@wonershparish.gov.uk if you have any issues or wish to join the volunteer rota.
The Parish Council acquired the phone box outside the village shop following BT’s decision to close the phone line last year. The Parish Council also own the Blackheath Lane phone box.
