Wonersh Parish Council is looking for a new Parish Councillor to help represent Wonersh village.
Wonersh Civil Parish comprises three villages: Blackheath, Wonersh and Shamley Green. Parish Councils are the tier of local government closest to the community. The Council is non-party political and are responsible for the management of most of the common land in the villages of Wonersh and Shamley Green. The Council also comments on all planning applications, assists with grants and leads on various projects and initiatives in the area to improve and maintain our area, including litter, playground maintenance and traffic and parking issues.
