Community picnic to celebrate Barnett Hill Fields and Healy’s Wood

Please come along to the Official Opening of Barnett Hill Fields and Healy’s Wood, which will take place on Friday 16th May 2025 at 11.00am.  Please meet at the picnic area in the upper Barnett field from 10.45am and we will have the official opening at 11.00am.  Bring a picnic and join us in celebrating of this community space.

Our sincere thanks to those volunteering their time and expertise here and also those funding the purchase and facilities, including in memory of those who loved this areas too.  We are currently exploring whether anyone would like to donate a tree to be planted this Autumn / Winter. Please get in touch with Cllr Anthony Shutes to express an interest in this on behalf of family and friends.
