Temporary Closure Order – Public Footpath 305 (Wonersh)

The Surrey County Council Public Footpath 305 (Wonersh) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Please see attachments relating to the temporary closure of Public Footpath 305 (Wonersh).

The closure is necessary on the grounds of public safety due to construction traffic related to Barnet Hill Hotel extension works on or near the highway.

The temporary closure order will be in place from 24 July 2026, initially for a period of 6 months. That period can be extended by the Secretary of State for Transport if required.

There will be an alternative route available – please see the attached plan.
